Development Intern Program

The Development Department is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing financial support to underwrite program services and operational expenses associated with sustaining quality service delivery for child abuse victims and their families.

Development Interns will help to raise money and awareness for Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center, while familiarizing themselves with the intricacies of a nonprofit organization. Additionally, each intern should uphold the mission within the organization and ensure the success of the Center’s goals.

Placements are available for both graduate and undergraduate students interested in pursuring a career with nonprofit organizations. Interns will have the opportunity to experience: grant writing, special events/marketing, community education, and volunteer involvement.
