Family Assistance Program

The Family Assistance Program was developed to meet the ongoing needs of families affected by abuse. Services include needs assessments, referrals to resources in the community, assistance with clothing and personal care items, and applying for available financial resources. The Family Assistance Program serves as an intern field placement site for universities all over the country.

“We have found everything to be helpful. We mostly need food toward the end of the month and they gave me a great resource close to my house. Me and my daughter love everyone here. We have been through a lot.” – Previous Family Assistance Client

“The workers in the family assistance program were compassionate and didn’t make me feel like I didn’t deserve or qualify for the help. Thank You! Keep up the fantastic work of helping those in need. I hope I can give back to the CAC someday to thank you for helping me” – Previous Family Assistance Client

“You all try to help people the best you can. I am so glad that you were there for me and my grand children. May God bless you all, and thanks a lot” – Previous Family Assistance client
