Holly Jolly Holiday Project
It’s that time of year again; the Holidays are on the way! Each Holiday season the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County holds its Holly Jolly Holiday Project. This project is our way of helping to ensure families with limited means can still have a happy holiday.
Each year the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County provides gifts for over 1,000 abused and neglected children from our community. Sadly, without the support of the Center, these children would not have gifts during the Holidays.
Here is how you can make a difference:
-
Donate new/unwrapped toys and adolescent gifts
-
Donate gift cards (Wal-mart, Target, Toys"R"Us, etc.)
-
Donate bike helmets of all shapes and sizes
How the Holly Jolly Holiday Project works: To best meet the needs of children and/or their family, gifts are provided through one of three specialized programs:
-
Adopt-A-Child
-
Adopt-A-Family
-
Toy Store
Adopt-A-Child: Each child creates a wish list of three gifts totaling approximately $100-$125.
Adopt-A-Family: Each family member creates a wish list of their needs. The cost in committing to adopt-a-family totals approximately $1,000. Families eligible for this program are unable to afford necessities.
Toy Store: Parents are allowed to choose three gifts, at no cost, for their children from a large selection of donated toys. All donations of new toys are accepted and appreciated.

Drop off: Donations can be dropped off at the Center during business hours.
Business hours are:
Monday – Thursday 8:00am to 8:00pm
Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm
Saturday – Sunday: closed
