The Holly Jolly
Holiday Project
The Holly Jolly Holiday Project is our way of helping to ensure
that families with limited means can still have a happy holiday.
Each year, Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center provides
gifts for over 1000 abused and neglected children in Collin County
during the holiday season. The gifts are provided through one of
three specialized programs to best meet the needs of the child and/or
family.
The
three programs are:
1. Adopt-A-Child – Each child creates a wish list of three
gifts totaling approximately $100
2. Adopt-A-Family – Families create a wish list of their needs
3. Toy Store – An area filled with free toys for parents to
choose what to get their children
How Can I Help?
1. Adopt a child
2. Adopt a family
3. Donate new/unwrapped toys
4. Donate gift cards
5. Have a toy drive
6. And of course, VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME!

Back
To School Fair
Every year our agency sponsors a Back to School Fair for over 400
children to provide them with the basic tools for a successful start
to the new school year. All children are entitled to the excited
anticipation of the first day of school. Often times our children
are left aware of the financial burdens of their families when they
arrive without supplies on the first day of school. In addition
to providing backpacks filled with school supplies, we provide a
fun atmosphere including games, music, face painting, hair cuts,
dental exams, sports physicals, school pictures, and refreshments.
How Can I Help?
1. Monetary Donation
2. Donate a $20 Gift Card to Payless (buys a new pair of shoes for
one of our kids)
3. Donate School Supplies
4. Donate Dictionaries/Thesaurus
5. Donate In-Kind Goods (Balloons, Refreshments, Helium Tanks, Popcorn
Machines, etc.)
6. Donate your Talents! (Volunteer your services: Doctors, Dentists,
Hairstylists, Photographers, Face-Painters, clowns, etc.)
