Community Education

The center's community education department is dedicated to keeping the community informed about the issue of child abuse.  We believe by working together we can have a significant impact.

There are many ways to educate yourself about child abuse and learn how you can make a difference.

  • Call to schedule a tour of the center or request a speaker for your corporation, civic group, company or any other group interested in learning more
  • Become involved with the center's "Kids Count Players! puppets by becoming a volunteer puppeteer
  • Call to schedule a teacher/counselor in-service training
  • Learn about the center's "Brown Bag" lunches designed for corporations and companies to teach parents about protecting their children
  • Request a copy of the center's monthly  e-mail "Update" and stay informed about child abuse and center activities

Contact the Center's Development Director at 972-633-6611 or email jfleming@cacplano.org to learn more about available programs.
